An intentional step before your event.
Each participant must complete an event-specific waiver before every event. This initial agreement is a draft for attorney review and legal entity confirmation. It addresses slips, trips, falls, stairs, uneven surfaces, exercise, outdoor and pool risks and releases only liability permitted by law. A waiver cannot eliminate all liability.

PARTICIPANT ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE — BARN4WELLNESS DRAFT FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW. Before use, the venue must confirm its exact legal entity name, property owners, event operators and applicable law with qualified local counsel. This draft is not a guarantee of enforceability or a release of every kind of liability. 1. EVENT-SPECIFIC PARTICIPATION This agreement applies to the event and date identified in my submission and my use of the associated barn, studio, treatment room, stairs, kitchen/networking areas, porch, poolside and outdoor grounds. I agree to complete a separate agreement before each event. I may decline an activity or stop participating at any time. 2. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS I understand that wellness activities and attendance at a historic property involve inherent and other risks. These include slips, trips and falls; stairs, thresholds, uneven or wet surfaces and ground; changes in floor levels; collisions with people, furniture or equipment; muscle strain, overexertion, loss of balance, fainting or other exercise-related injury; weather, insects and outdoor conditions; and, when specifically authorized, water-related risks including drowning during pool or floating activities. Risks may result in property damage, illness, serious injury or death. I voluntarily assume the risks of my participation to the extent permitted by law. I will not enter or use the pool unless the event organizer explicitly permits it and applicable supervision and safety requirements are met. 3. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY I will follow posted rules and reasonable safety instructions, use equipment only as directed, report hazards, and act with care for others. I understand this is an alcohol-free venue. I am responsible for deciding whether activities are appropriate for me and for consulting a qualified healthcare professional when needed. I will stop and notify the organizer if I experience pain, dizziness or distress. Wellness services are not a substitute for medical care; no medical result is promised. 4. RELEASE TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW In consideration of permission to attend and participate, I release Barn4Wellness and its confirmed legal operating entities, property owners, employees and agents from claims for injury, illness, death or property loss arising from my attendance or participation, including slips, trips and falls and ordinary negligence, ONLY TO THE EXTENT SUCH A RELEASE IS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. This agreement does not release gross negligence, reckless or intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be waived. It does not remove the venue's legal duties where those duties cannot be waived. Independent practitioners may require separate activity-specific agreements; this document does not replace them. 5. EMERGENCY RESPONSE If an emergency occurs, I authorize reasonable efforts to contact emergency services and my emergency contact. This does not authorize non-emergency medical treatment or guarantee emergency services. I remain responsible for charges lawfully attributable to me. 6. MINORS If signing as a parent or legal guardian, I confirm my authority, identify the minor participant, and acknowledge these risks on the minor's behalf to the extent permitted by law. A guardian signature does not waive a minor's rights where prohibited. The organizer must confirm minor participation and supervision requirements before admission. 7. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AND RECORD I have read this entire agreement, understand that it may affect legal rights, have had an opportunity to ask questions, and sign voluntarily. By typing my full legal name and affirmatively consenting, I intend to sign electronically. The signed record includes the event, date, submitted information, exact agreement text and version, and server-recorded signing time. I may print or save a copy. No marketing or photography consent is included. 8. SEVERABILITY If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this agreement enlarges a release beyond what the law allows.Plan your gathering
